<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">The Reading Review Packet (below) includes word cards for "sight words" that we see often in text. You may print, cut them out, and practice reading, or read them straight from your device.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">The first half of materials are for Week 1. The second half are for Week 2.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">For reading each day, please do the following:</span></strong></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal"><span style="font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">1. Review the sound spelling and read the words on the "rainbow charts" (I'm sorry these are not in color). Please see the video (below) on How to Read a&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Rainbow Chart.</span></p>
<div><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">2. Read one of the passages/short stories. Choose the one that is the best fit</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'"> for you. Below you will find a document that explains how to find a "just right"&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">reading passage (this may also be used for books).&nbsp; Start with Day 1, the next </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">day do Day 2, etc.&nbsp; **The passages that say Day 1-5 are extra.</span></div>

<li><span style="font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt">Answer the questions about the story. Go back to the story to find and underline text evidence!</span></li>

<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">These math worksheets (below) are for extra practice of skills that have already been taught. They are the same as the paper packet that some of you picked up at school. If you can, please first complete the Zearn lesson each day (see the calendar) before completing the worksheet for the same skill. Be sure to watch the videos (see below) on how to log in and use Zearn.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">No one is expected to complete all of the worksheets. Each skill has 2-3 pages. Please choose the one that you think is the best fit for you. *</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">*The first page is a multiplication game. Use a pencil and a paperclip for the spinner.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">For fluency practice, you may print the flashcards (below), make your own, or simply say the answers aloud while looking at them on your device.&nbsp; Fraction war is played with another player. Split the deck in half. Each player plays a card down and the larger fraction wins both cards. The player who gets all the cards wins.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic','sans-serif'">The Writing Review Packet (below) includes two pages of grammar skill review. There are also several journal prompt questions to choose from. Please choose the ones that most interest you, or make up your own question to write about! You don't have to finish one each day. Also, feel free to use your own paper. Be sure to use your best handwriting with spaces between words. Remember to use <u>complete sentences, which include:</u></span></p>
