Information About Kindergarten Registration
Welcome incoming 2020-21 Kindergarten families.  We are offering on-line registration on our school website.  To complete the process simply click on the link and complete the online information. After completing this first step, additional forms will be sent to you via DocuSign.  However, if you would like a paper copy instead, you may pick-up one at Laurel on June 15th from 8:00 to 10:00 or June 16th from 1-3pm.  Help filling out these documents is also available during these times.  Finally, during these times incoming Kindergartners will also receive a kindergarten readiness welcome bag.  The bag will include some fun summer activities as well as a new book.
Reminder: Our 4th grade recognition is tomorrow from 4:30-6 pm at Laurel, drive-up style! Students will receive their 4th grade certificate, a gift, and be able to say farewell to their teachers. Feel free to decorate your cars and be loud and proud of our amazing 4th graders!
End of Year Celebration
Tomorrow at 11 am, we will be having our last virtual class meeting on Zoom. We will doing our end of year celebration/hangout and celebrating birthdays we missed and summer birthdays! Feel free to have your favorite snack to eat during this meeting and also your favorite stuffed animal or pet. Can't wait to see everyone!

Dates to Remember
  • Friday, May 29, 8 am- 4 pm- All day pick up for student belongings and packets 
    • We are doing acitivities around our Outdoor School theme next week, so we recommend that EVERYONE comes to pick up a packet--leftover packets will be sent home by bus the following Tuesday like normal, but student belongings will not
  • June 1-5- Spirit Week--encourage your child to dress up, take a photo and email it to me! I will make a collage of all the students to post for the class :)
    • Monday-Dress Up, Tuesday-Sports Day, Wednesday-Crazy Socks, Thursday- Pajama Day, Friday- Laurel pride day
    • A video will be sent out this week with more info!
  • Tuesday, June 2, 11 am - Last Class Zoom meeting--We will do our end of the year/summer birthday celebration. My students can join the meeting with their favorite stuffed animal/pet and their favorite snack!
  • Wednesday, June 3, 4:30-6 pm- 4th Grade Recognition Drive-Up Style~ 4th grade send off gift and recognition certificate
  • Friday, June 5no packet pick up
  • Monday, June 8, 8 am-4 pm - collect belongings, receive end of year packet materials, and turn in Chrome books, chargers, and any library books students have at home-there will also be another send off gift distributed to ALL students at Laurel today
  • Wednesday, June 10 - Last day of school

Movement class meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11 am! Wear some comfy clothes and shoes that you can get moving in--We will do some stretches and light exercises!

Trivia Tuesday
Trivia Tuesday will be happening at our next Zoom class meeting this Tuesday at 11 am! Please look for an email and post in Google Classroom for Zoom meeting login information. 
Students should have 3 pieces of paper/cards with one labeled "A", one labeled "B", and the other labeled "C". 
I can't wait to see everyone there!
