Hi Second Graders! Here is a quick review of r-controlled vowels and fluency!

I miss you I hope you guys are having a good time at home hopefully getting outside maybe doing some school work I hope that you're about to or you have to pick up his pocket or like I said you're about to inside there's a lot of review so today I'm going to talk to you about reviewing some of the readings that's in yet and then I'll be posting another video that will review them at Subway are we went on our way we were talking about our control valve so I'm going to show you see if this will work for me I'm going to show you I'm sure you can see this ER this makes sure sound I are you are so let's try out together Birds swirl good job if you were doing that with me if you want to watch this video again then you can really do it with me so if we look at these green words you are going to read just the highlighted sound first stop germs and the word is skirt next serve and the word is Tren and I'm going to let you go through these by yourself and you can read the sound first and you can pause the video if you would like all right words we have the word animal away building sound from Saturday start today Ford and watch so you can read those again or you can just read along with me sentences that we have when turns swirl in the sky it's quite a scene I would sign up to watch them all day and I wonder little symbols here what I want what I want you to do at home is go through your pocket and there's a lot of different things speed words how fast you can read these are controlled sounds there's some fun matching games they look like little blocks you have some sorting when were you going to find the word and you my rear ended up here don't worry about cutting them out just rewrite them or else you're going to be heading into another page but nothing I want to focus on the passages that look like this and this is called a 5 Steps because there's so what you're going to do first and you're going to meet someone at home to help you cuz you're going to read this while being time for one minute you're going to eat as much as you can when you stop for when the timer goes off that's what you Market so let's say I stopped at the word why right there when the timer is up you can count all the words but if you look at this number you can say I was 67 there at the end of this line 773 words to the new right that step 2 is read it at your own pace and that means just read it like you'd read anything you're not being timed so just meet up with expression or however you like next is your highlighting your word work and a word work is right here and it says highlight all of the a r i r n o r words so you're going to get a highlighter this is kind of fun you can use you're going to get it highlighter and you're going to like I said a r i r m o r words are going to just read it again and look out for those words so Jesse was a pig live on a farm when you're done with the word work this is the Best Buy you get to do this Billy Reid Billy Reid is read the story and I'm not quite sure how you're going to do that but you can be really creative cuz that sounds kind of tricky but I'm excited for you guys have some fun with that and the last step that 5 is too real set a timer for one minute you're going to read market and calculate your words again and then you're going to write it here and if this number is bigger than this one then you beat and you get to color in your face if you want to challenge there's another one on the back and as you go through the packet like I said there's a lot of pages that are a review of that ER Ark so I'm hoping that you'll get through this you don't have to work a lot just trying to keep that pace up a little bit everyday question you can you saw me or if you want we can have a zoom meeting cuz sometimes it's easier to talk face-to-face my office hours are Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday from 10 to 11 please let me know and I'll make something else where I hope you guys are doing great and I'm sure do miss you and I hope we can go back to her regular time soon by Laura leopards
