Early Entrance Regulation Junction City
Early entry into school may be allowed for a student whose fifth birthday occurs after September 1st. Students who turn five after September 1st and before October 1st may be considered for early entry into kindergarten if they are determined to be sufficiently advanced to succeed in the educational program based on academic readiness, cognitive ability and social/emotional functioning and/or physical development AND confirmation of a successful preschool experience.
Your student may be eligible for early entrance to kindergarten if:
  • Fifth birthday is after September 1st and before October 1st
  • Has been determined to be sufficiently advanced
  • And there is confirmation of a successful preschool experience

Per the Early Entrance Regulation, the application is due by the June 30th prior to the school year starting.

Elementary students will enroll in their home schools. Families can find out their home school location via RLID Quick Look, or by downloading a copy of the School Boundary Map. For questions about school boundaries, contact Stephanie White in the District Office, 541-998-6311 x15600.

We encourage families to enroll as soon as possible. This helps us forecast class sizes and staffing needs for the coming school year.
