Welcome Incoming 2022-23 Kindergarten Families!

We offer on-line registration. Please read through the below information.

If you would like a paper copy instead, you may pick-up the forms at Laurel Elementary (1401 Laurel Street) prior to June 17, 2022.

If you have a child that will be five years old on or before September 1, 2022, and you live in the Junction City School District, your child will be starting all day kindergarten this September!

Early Entrance Regulation Junction City
Early entry into school may be allowed for a student whose fifth birthday occurs after September 1st. Students who turn five after September 1st and before October 1st may be considered for early entry into kindergarten if they are determined to be sufficiently advanced to succeed in the educational program based on academic readiness, cognitive ability and social/emotional functioning and/or physical development AND confirmation of a successful preschool experience.  Per the Early Entrance Regulation, the application is due by the June 30th prior to the school year starting.

Elementary students will enroll in their home schools. Families can find out their home school location via RLID Quick Look, or by downloading a copy of the School Boundary Map. For questions about school boundaries, contact Stephanie White in the District Office, 541-998-6311 x15600.

We encourage families to enroll as soon as possible. This helps us forecast class sizes and staffing needs for the coming school year.
